Area police agencies will conduct joint training exercises from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the Business and Administration Building along Summit Street on the Kent Campus.

Now a senior actuarial consultant at Nationwide Insurance, Zalewski recently reached a significant professional milestone — completing the multi-year process to earn the title of Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

91³Ô¹ÏÍø's annual Veterans Day Commemoration included traditional flag-raising ceremonies, a keynote speaker honoring our military members and their families, a remembrance of POW-MIAs, a luncheon for veterans and planting bulbs in memory of fallen service members. 

The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 10. The sole purpose of the special meeting is to consider a proposed collective bargaining agreement between Kent State and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Employees Local 153.

91³Ô¹ÏÍø will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. No classes are scheduled, and university offices are closed.

American Academy student Alexandre Andrade, who is majoring in marketing and entrepreneurship at the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, has learned to embrace cultural differences during his international journey to Ohio.

91³Ô¹ÏÍø holds its annual Veterans Day Commemoration at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, at the Student Green on the Kent Campus. All are invited to attend and pay tribute to those who have served in the U.S. armed forces.
