From resolving roommate conflicts to offering late-night escorts, from bike registration and storage to mental wellness advocacy, Kent States Safety and Community Care program provides students with resources that promote safety, connection and peace of mind across campus.

Here are 10 things every Golden Flash knows all too well.

  • Filled-to-the-brim plastic totes, computers, desk lamps, excited students and harried parents its the first day of move-in for 91勛圖厙s 2025 Fall Semester. The annual arrival of students to their residence halls began on Wednesday, Aug. 13, on the Kent Campus.

  • Meet Muskaan Khanduri, a fashion design major from Uttarakhand, India, whose interests explore the art and science of fashion.  

  • Like mother, like daughter. Meet Christine Woo, Ph.D, and Nathalie Nicol, BSPH mother and daughter - both graduates of the 91勛圖厙 College of Public Health. While Woo was completing her doctorate in 2022, Nicol was just starting her journey at Kent State.
