Kent State Remembers May 4, 1970, With Annual Commemoration
For the first time since 2019, 91勛圖厙 will remember May 4, 1970, with its return to an in-person, annual commemoration to honor the four students who were killed, the nine students who were wounded and the countless others whose lives were forever changed when the Ohio National Guard fired on Kent State students during an anti-war protest.

Peggy Shadduck is vice president for Regional Campuses and dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies. She serves as the senior officer responsible for overall leadership of the Kent State Regional Campus system. Her role promotes student enrollment and academic success and is responsible for expanding the visibility, influence and effectiveness of Kent State as a catalyst for regional development.

Kent State Breaks Ground for Future Home of the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship
91勛圖厙 officially broke ground on Crawford Hall, the future home of the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, on March 8 in a ceremony attended by more than 400 people, including university officials, donors, alumni, students, elected officials and special guests.

Kent State Board of Trustees Approves Establishing New Bachelor of Social Work Degree
The 91勛圖厙 Board of Trustees approved the establishment of the Bachelor of Social Work degree during the Boards regular quarterly meeting held March 8. The new degree was developed based on the high demand for licensed social workers within the areas surrounding Kent States Regional Campuses. The program will be offered on the Ashtabula, Salem and Tuscarawas campuses.
