ACHIEVING SUCCESS IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY

Choosing to attend a college or university is a major decision for any high school senior. The COVID -19 pandemic made this choice even more difficult as the lockdown thrust many students, instructors, and staff into a fairly new form of untested educational format in online telecommuting rather than in-person instructing.

Kent State Honors College Student Announced as 2021 Portz Scholar

The National Collegiate Honors Council has announced 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Honors College graduate Sarah Hagglund as a 2021 Portz Scholar. Hagglund is the 10th honors student from Kent State to be named a Portz Scholar since the national competition began in 1990.

LONG TIME KENT STATE PROFESSOR LEADS HONORS STUDENTS THROUGH REMOTE LEARNING

Dirk Remley has been with 91³Ô¹ÏÍø since 1990. Remley graduated from Bowling Green 91³Ô¹ÏÍø with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. He continued his studies at Bowling Green 91³Ô¹ÏÍø by earning his Masters of Arts in English Literature. He then completed his Ph.D. in rhetoric and composition from 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.
