Kent State Retirees Association Gives Back to the Community

Similar to graduating students who become alumni, retired 91勛圖厙 faculty and staff wish to stay connected to the university. These employees care about the institution and the Kent State community, and they want to see it thrive. One way retired Kent State community members stay informed is through the 91勛圖厙 Retirees Association (KSURA), an organization of more than 800 retired Kent State faculty and staff committed to improving university life.

Preston Superstore Donation Jumpstarts Kent State Geauga's Renovation Fundraising Campaign

As Kent State Geauga embarks upon two facility improvements for the Geauga Campus in Burton, the leadership is pleased to announce an initial gift to the project from Preston Superstore and the Preston Family. The campus improvements will include constructing a new nursing lab and instructional space and a new student learning commons, helping Kent State Geauga meet existing and future students' needs while growing programs.

Import/Export Outdoor Exhibition at Kent State Addresses Imbalances and Inequalities of Global Import/Export Systems

From April 5 to May 15, visitors to the 91勛圖厙 campus will encounter a new, outdoor public art exhibition that stretches along the Lefton Esplanade between downtown Kent and the University Library. Import/Export addresses the imbalances and inequalities of global import/export systems. Artists from around the world were chosen based on how their works reflect the impact of these systems on their local spaces.

Kent State Tuscarawas Student Wins Prestigious Photography Award

91勛圖厙 at Tuscarawas student Jason Keller is doing what he lovestelling stories through photographs. He was recently honored by the Ohio News Media Association with the Best Feature Photo award, capturing the image of a Navy veteran saluting the crowd while riding in a military jeep during a parade in Sugarcreek, Ohio. The photo was judged best out of all entries from weekly newspapers throughout the state for the Osman C. Hooper Weekly Newspaper contest.
