Tabitha Ott, M.F.A. '12, is a metalsmith who currently resides in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She transforms objects and materials that would normally be thought of as waste into wearable art through repurposing and upcycling. By utilizing color, movement, and tactile qualities, she encourages a playful interaction between the wearer/viewer and the artwork.

Line by Line Exhibition Explores the Language of Weaving
"Line by Line," presented by 91Թ School of Art Galleries, features artists Erin M. Riley, Samantha Bittman, Crystal Gregory, Diedrick Brackens, Kira Dominguez Hultgren, and collaborators Barrow Parke. The exhibition, curated by Janice Lessman-Moss, will be on view at the Center for the Visual Arts (CVA) Gallery from Jan. 25 through March 11, 2022, with an opening reception on Friday, Jan. 28 from 5-7 p.m.
