The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø at Stark DEAR (Diversity, Equity & Anti-Racism) Committee is hosting a community-wide panel discussion and forum, Bridging the Gap: Legislative Movements and DEIB in Higher Ed, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. The panel will be held at 6 p.m. in the Main Hall Auditorium at Kent State Stark.
Panelists will address:
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) issues from historical and legislative points of view
- Ideas on what is currently being done to improve the best practices in higher education
- Future plans on what we want to accomplish
- Audience participation and interaction encouraged
