Help us roll out the red carpet for our newest community members! We’re looking for friendly volunteers to drive golf carts during the Kent Campus First-Year Student Move-In on August 13 and 14. You'll be transporting students and their families from long-term parking to the residence halls—a simple but impactful way to offer a warm welcome to campus. Shifts are available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sign up for as many as you'd like. Golf cart certification is required (easy instructions are included). 

Main Street Kent is a non-profit organization dedicated to making downtown Kent a fun, vibrant and thriving community through beautification and public art projects, year-round festivals and programming. With two staff members and hundreds of volunteers, this organization is a driving force for small business support and community building. 

Nominations are now open for the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Advisor Impact Award! Sponsored by University Advising, the Advisor Impact Award is a quarterly recognition given to one outstanding academic advisor who has made a significant positive impact on the lives and academic success of their students. This award celebrates advisors who embody the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Advising Guiding Principles. Nominations for the award close Friday, July 11.

Attend a free lecture series June 6-12 as part of the School of Art’s Annual Kent Blossom Art Intensives(KBAI) Program. Every year, visiting artists give public presentations on their work. All artist lectures are free and open to the public. Lectures are hosted by world-renowned guest artists in ceramics, painting, textiles and glass.

Kent State Baseball takes on the Ohio State Buckeyes Wednesday, April 9, at Bill Davis Stadium in Columbus, Ohio!

Join the Kent State Central Ohio Alumni Chapter for a tailgate in the stadium parking lot to enjoy food and Kent State prizes with fellow alumni and fans before cheering on the Golden Flashes at their 6 p.m. game! Alumni are welcome to bring a cooler, chair or lawn games.
