Volunteers needed: Move-in golf cart drivers

Help us roll out the red carpet for our newest community members! We’re looking for friendly volunteers to drive golf carts during the Kent Campus First-Year Student Move-In on August 13 and 14. You'll be transporting students and their families from long-term parking to the residence halls—a simple but impactful way to offer a warm welcome to campus. Shifts are available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sign up for as many as you'd like. Golf cart certification is required (easy instructions are included).

Nominations are now open for the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Advisor Impact Award! Sponsored by University Advising, the Advisor Impact Award is a quarterly recognition given to one outstanding academic advisor who has made a significant positive impact on the lives and academic success of their students. This award celebrates advisors who embody the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Advising Guiding Principles. Nominations for the award close Friday, July 11.

Dr. Kathy Siesel Dr. Siesel started her journey with KSUCPM as a 1989 graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (OCPM). Subsequent residency and fellowship programs with OCPM and the Cleveland Foot & Ankle Clinic (CFAC) lead her to the start of her career as a part-time clinical faculty member in 1991.
