Possible Power Interruptions on Kent Campus on Veterans Day Holiday

The Kent Campus may experience power interruptions due to turbine testing on Friday, Nov. 11. Kent State generates a large portion of the power used on the Kent Campus. The university will be testing the turbines to check on the reliability and operation of control and distribution systems. This exercise tests the turbines’ ability to power the Kent Campus without being connected to the Ohio Edison power grid.
