& the Wick Poetry Center

This exhibit features over twenty artworks from the School of Art Collection and ekphrastic poems by members of the Kent community written in response to those selected works.

This session focuses on migrating non-curricular training and resource "courses" from Blackboard to Canvas. We will focus on how to move content from Blackboard to Canvas, organize materials, and manage access for users. Visit Training.Kent.Edu to register.

Chrome River is Kent State’s expense reimbursement tool. Users can create, submit, and track their reimbursements and approvers can approve reimbursements in an easy-to-use web based interface. Visit Training.Kent.Edu to register.

The Exploration Plan is a five-step process designed to help students explore their interests, transition to Kent State and eventually declare a major.

• Comfort with numbers and data
• Technical aptitude (no need to be a programming or statistics pro, but some proficiency is extremely useful)
• Openness to learning and collaboration
• Interest in making data actionable 

Michelle offers some advice for this aspect as well, stating, “Don’t let the lack of an analytics background hold you back. If you are curious, motivated, and willing to learn, you already have what it takes to succeed.”
