
Douglas Kubinski
Biography
Doug originally began working at Kent State in 2013 as Associate Counsel. His primary practice areas were real estate, intellectual property, personal injury, and research and sponsored programs. Prior to his employment with KSU, he worked for the City of Philadelphia where he directed Economic Development, facilities and development projects, legislative ordinances and arbitration. In 2022, Doug transitioned to Cleveland 91³Ô¹ÏÍø as Associate General Counsel whereupon he continued to gain knowledge and understanding of legal affairs in Higher Education. Doug returns to Kent State with a wealth of expertise as the new Vice President, General Counsel. In his spare time, he plays the ukulele, sings with the Akron Symphony and spends time with his wife and two children.
